Message	The engine is new. I've noticed on cold starts I have what seems to be piston slap. I was concearned at first, then reading on JE Piston's site I found out that the pistons are made of 2618 T6. They say 2618 Expands 15% more than 4032 Aluminum. so the piston-to-wall clearence has to be 15% greater. JE says... when cold, the 2816 piston can rock back and forth producing a slight noise ( sometimes reffered to as Piston Slap) So.... Anyone else using these pistons? Do you hear any piston slap in the cold engine?
